This is the Southern Crescent Cycling club website. We have expanded our club into the surrounding counties in the southern crescent of Metro Atlanta's suburbs. We are an informal group of bicycle racers, riders and enthusiast. We share your passion for riding. It doesn't matter to us whether you prefer gliding effortlessly along quiet country roads, screaming down hard-packed trails or lining up at the start line to test your limits. Cycling is a wonderful social activity. We are also a advocacy group trying to get more places to ride and we need your help. Epic Bikes® is the shop behind this with a vision of more places to ride. Southern Crescent Cycling is South Atlanta's first cycling club that started in 2006. The club is USAC licensed.
The club's membership is diversified to include recreational riders, mountain bike, road and track riders and even recumbent riders. SCC promotes competitive racing in the southside through the coaching and development of teams and promotes and encourages safe, recreational cycling. As a member of SCC, you can participate at any level of interest, from recreational rides to racing. Perhaps your goal is to only develop more fitness and not racing. That is excellent and the club will help you reach your goals.
