Start of AMS rides

I will be at the raceway about 6 this evening 3/9  if anyone is interested.

Wish I could. Have a high school event with my son otherwise I'd be there.

Right now it looks like Greg H., Mark H., and myself are riding Tuesday....   Hope we might have some other folks show also...  Come join us Steve!!!

Is there a schedule for AMS rides this week (Tues-Wed-Thurs; Feb 23-25)??

O.K.   Now have a schedule figured out....   Doing AMS Thursday....  Will be leaving the Shop at 1:00pm Friday to do 40 plus miles if anyone is interested...  Will be leaving the shop at noon on Saturday and finding out how much I have left in my legs.....  Would love to see some of you out there....  We are running out of time to get miles in before the Ride  To The Capital....    Lot of climbing on this course once Highway 155 hits Dekalb County both coming and going...     Nothing is written in stone as far as times go except at AMS....  

Just checked out the weather and the best day to ride this upcoming week will be Thursday.   We will have a high of  54 degrees.    Rest of the week looks like low to middle 40;s,,,,    Hope to see everyone out there....

Thanks guys for a fun ride! Any ride that I've actually been on the bike outdoors is good right now. Fred and Mark are staying in shape I see!

Nice to see everyone out there....   Mike C. , Bill S., Ken B.,  Mark H., and Jerry #2.....     Another awesome ride....   Hate when you have a headwind on the back stretch but Im not complaing with the warm weather....   Hope to ride Wed. but it will have to be fifty or above for me....

It don't get any better than that. Double file - double the draft. 20 avg never seemed so easy.  A couple of laps at 21+.  I couldn't believe the turnout! Keep coming out everyone.

Riding AMS Monday, probably Tuesday and Wednesday for sure....   54 degrees tomorrow 56 degrees Tuesday and 53 degrees on Wed.     Checked long term forecast and these are the best days to ride in the next week...  Long range forecast says nasty weather the frist weekend of Febuary....  Surprise...   groan....   Went out to AMS in my car to do some trail maintence....  Excessive gravel and silt in the bus lane...  Carried a industrial push broom and pan.    Much to my chagrin I found out you cant sweep up the silt while it's wet....   I'll have to go back after several days of dry weather....  Not giving up...

Awesome ride last night guys....  Great finish...  Thanks to Jerry #2, Steve Church, and Jason Darcy....  Nice mellow warm up of nine miles at around 18.4 mph. then the last 20 we ramped up the pace to around 20.6 mph to finish up with an average of 19.6....  Warmest night of the year by far....  As crazy as it sounds it seemed to get warmer as we rode....   So glad to get a good hard ride in before a miserable weekend....

Enjoyed the ride tonight. Sure felt colder than the low 40's, but it was still enjoyable. I won't make it on Thursday.

Fred, hope you are still riding tomorrow (Thurs, 1/28). I think you/'re right - might be last time to get out for a while. I plan to be there - hopefully around 5:45. Anyone else planning to ride?

Y'all missed a good ride tonight. I rode with Shawn Few for a few laps before Mike Roby and Chris Gower joined in and upped the pace. Michael Cox joined later. Good ride, brisk pace, great workout. Not too cold (except for Shawn who forgot most of his cold weather gear...including gloves).

I'm planning to ride. Will probably be closer to 5:45 or 6.

I will be riding out at AMS tomorrow Wed. the 27th....  I think Greg will be riding also..  Hope to see David and maybe even Jerry will show up...  Temps around 54 tomorrow at start...  Also will be ouit there Thursday.  High in the low 60's....    This weekend is looking bad...  This will probably be the last two chances to ride this week...   grrrrrrr....     Like the old Mothers Finest song says...   " It's what you do with what you got ".....

Dang it. I can't go to AMS....my wife has the van. Oh well, guess I'll try to get in a ride around here.

As of now I'll be there, but we'll see how the weather develops later today.
